One of very few houses set in its own land. Beautiful old Catalan farmhouse hidden away along a winding road near to the village of Porrera. Owner Gemma Peyri cooks wonderfully for her guests and looks after their every needs. Rooms with modern facilities with a slightly Morrocan feel. A lot of the holiday accommodation use the prefix: CAL. This is Catalan and means "the house belonging to". In the small villages of the Priorat, each and every one of the houses has a "nickname" and everyone who lives in the house is known by this name. Sometimes it is related to their surname, but often it is a lot older than the family or refers to someone who lived there many years ago.
