Opened in 2008, this refurbished village house in Capçanes is a great place for families or groups of friends. Sleeps 6/7 people and is great value for money. As opposed to many village houses in the Priorat, this one actually has a small garden with a barbeque and wooden table for enjoying summer evenings. |

A lot of the holiday accommodation use the prefix: CAL. This is Catalan and means "the house belonging to". In the small villages of the Priorat, each and every one of the houses has a "nickname" and everyone who lives in the house is known by this name. Sometimes it is related to their surname, but often it is a lot older than the family or refers to someone who lived there many years ago.
