Day Two
We kick off this tour at Mas Blanc-Pinord winery near Bellmunt del Priorat, the only Biodynamic winery to officially register the first biodynamic wine in Spain. Tour of vineyards on foot and tasting in the modern winery. We then return to Falset to visit the Castle of Wine (interpretation centre). Lunch at a modern restaurant in the same village, whose owner is the president of the Tarragona Sommelier Association. After lunch, we return to Cal Compte for a "siesta" and free time. In the evening we take another 4x4 ride up to steep Priorat vineyards to watch the sun go down and a private supper at Terroir al Límit winery where we will enjoy a typical Priorat dish "Truita amb Suc", paired with the winery's stunning wines.

Day Three
Today, we will visit the heart of the "new Priorats" in the little wine village of Gratallops. Exlusive private tour of Clos Mogador winery owned by René Barbier and his family in Gratallops. This winery spearheaded the changes in wine-making techniques which lead to a dramatic turn in the future of the modern Priorat wine scene. We take a break at lunchtime for a meal at the family's exclusive "haute cuisine" restaurant in the same village with food and wine pairing of Clos Mogador wines. After lunch we will enjoy a private tour and tasting at Alvaro Palacios winery and vineyards (subject to availability). We will visit one of the most beautiful viewpoints of Priorat, the Consolació Hermitage, where Alvaro Palaciós has his prize "Ermita" vineyards. In the evening we return to Cal Compte for free time and a light evening meal.

Day Four
Today, we start off with a ten minute drive to the charming village of Porrera. We will take a 4x4 vehicle to the Mas de la Rosa vineyards of Vall Llach winery high up in the hills above the village. This will be followed by a winery tour and tasting at the winery. Before lunch we continue the wine theme by visiting another winery which has changed the Priorat in recent years. We will visit Cims de Porrera with owner and winemaker, Adrià Pérez.. Lunch in the same village at a traditional food restaurant and then on to Reus in the afternoon private tour of the Vine and Wine Institute (Estació Enológica de Reus). This building is a beautiful Art Nouveau jewel which was purpose built as a wine-making school at the beginning of the twentieth century. In the early evening we will visit a specialist wine shop and have a tapas supper before returning to Cal Compte.

Day Five
We continue the theme of this wine tour, by visiting Mas Martinet in Falset, followed by Clos de l'Obac in Gratallops. After lunch in Carles' restaurant in Gratallops, we will visit the Carthusian Monastery of Scala Dei. Free time and dinner at Cal Compte.

Day Six
To finish off this tour, we can't let you go without having experienced Montsant wines. We start the day by visiting the beautiful hill-top hamlet of Siurana, last Moorish stronghold in Catalonia. After enjoying the stunning views over the Priorat region, we will head for a Cornudella-based winery for a tour and barbeque in their country residence. In the evening we return to Cal Compte for a guided olive oil tasting and farewell dinner with a local winemaker from Scala Dei.
